According to specified data the number of the people affected during Osh events goes beyond 2 thousand 500 people and death toll reached 403 as the State National Security Service of Kyrgyzstan (GSNB) reported today.

According to specified data the number of the people affected during Osh events goes beyond 2 thousand 500 people and death toll reached 403 as the State National Security Service of Kyrgyzstan (GSNB) reported today.

They admitted that the investigation of the criminal cases caused public resonance is taking longer than planned due to numerous examinations, news agency "24.kg" reported.

Intelligence agencies are probing charges initiated on following facts: organizing mass riots in Osh and Jalal-Abad cities and Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts; murders; illegal border crossing; illegal keeping and bearing of arms, ammunition and explosives; and other grave crimes. Generally, 34 criminal cases were filed.

"Over 50 people were detained within the investigation. 9 criminal cases were referred to courts," they specify in GSNB.

According to chekists "majority of the killed aged 20 to 29 years old (20.3 percent), 30-39 years old (16.3 percent), 41-50 years old (18.3 percent) and under age is 2.4 percent." Other 72 bodies are still unidentified.

"The age cohort of the affected demonstrates that mostly people aged 20-39 years old (58.7 percent) are engaged in mass riots," GSNB informs.

In accordance with Russian tests of biomaterials of unidentified corps and relatives of missing people 5 dead persons were identified at the moment. Totally 201 samples of biomaterials were sent to Moscow.

GSNB also informs that 1 thousand 165 people received gunshot wounds, 600 people - traumas and injures, 69 - sword-cut and stab wounds, 23 - burns and 43 - other wounds.
