"I am sure the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan will pass calmly," stated the interim president Roza Otunbayeva after voting at the polling station № 1216, 24.kg news agency reported.
She said that authorities promised to conduct fair and transparent elections in the country. "It became possible after conducting the referendum. All conditions were created to conduct fair elections here," said Roza Otunbayeva.
On the question what will be a composition of the future parliament in her opinion she answered that "both parties won April 7 and oppositional parties will enter" Zhogorku Kenesh.
"We are sure they will consider voices of ethnic minorities as parties themselves envisage quotas," stressed Mrs. Otunbayeva.
