The number of protesters in front of White House in Bishkek increases
The number of protesters in front of the White House in the capital of Kyrgyzstan increases, news agency "24.kg" reported.
Today the relatives of the killed during the April 7 events from Meken Sheyitteri and the injured during the same events - Aikol Ala-Too -have gathered here. People are being conveyed in buses and minibuses. At present the number of the protesters has reached 300-400 persons.
According to Turat Sagyndykov, the Coordinator of the rally and the Deputy Chairman of Meken Sheyitteri public association, people are coming from all over the republic. Representatives of 10 public organizations are participating in the rally. "Our basic demand is to acknowledge the parliamentary elections as invalid," he says. "We demand to adopt a law on lustration, i.e. to renew the officialdom. We do not agree with Ata-Zhurt party's entering the parliament, because we consider that it consists of bakiyev's people."
