A commission to monitor penal colonies where protest actions take place will be created in Kyrgyzstan, Ombudsman Tursunbek Akun stated at the press conference today, 24.kg reported.
According to him, he met with Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev following requests of relatives of inmates. "On his initiative the commission comprising relatives of convicts, parliament members and members of the Government is being created. Journalists can also accompany the commission as a matter of course," said Tursunbek Akun.
