Warehouse with 100 tons of fireworks exlodes in Kyrgyzstan
A warehouse with about 100 tons of fireworks exploded in Kyrgyzstan, KirTAG reported with reference to the press-service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on Friday.
The warehouse with pyrotechnics took fire at 11:02 a.m. on the territory of "Kerben". The warehouse was rented by Chinese company "Irgina".
About 800 square meters of timber materials burnt as a result of fire. The nearby houses in a residential area "Kerben"were also damaged.
Nine fire engines, 62 firefighters, 8 rescuers from Bishkek and the police extinguish the fire.
The fire was completely extinguished at 7:30 p.m.
The causes of fire are under investigation.
