The protesters disrupted the extraordinary session of Kyrgyz Parliament, news agency "24.kg" reported.

Today the deputies were to affirm the staff of the Supreme Court and Constitutional Chamber. The beginning of the session was scheduled for 9.30 a.m. However, about 9.00 a.m. people dissatisfied with the work of the Judges Selection Council began gathering at the White House building in the centre of the capital of Kyrgyzstan. They were outraged by the fact that 61 MPs signed the petition for the release of the ex-minister of defense Baktybek Kalyev, passing as the accused in the events of April 7, from detention under house arrest.

The protesters blocked two entrances to the building and have not let inside any MPs or their assistants or journalists. They managed to make in the tight circle one of the signatories to the petition in support of Baktybek Kalyev - the people's deputy of the Ata Meken opposition faction Ravshan Zheenbekov.

Participants of the protest action behaved aggressively towards the deputy. Militia, which half an hour from the beginning of spontaneous rally intervened in the proceedings, prevented the crowd to beat him. Law enforcement officials managed to repulse Ravshan Zheenbekov and covering by themselves, carried him to the car.
