Presidential nomination completed in Kyrgyzstan, 83 presidential nominees
In Kyrgyzstan, presidential nomination has completed, 24.kg news agency reported.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 83 applications as its press-service reports.
Reportedly, former chief of the CEC Akylbek Sariev, 1962, and the lawyer Marat Mergenov, 1965, have submitted their applications.
Besides, applications for the presidency were submitted by the self-nominees: Zarylbek Kudabaev, 1953, Doctor of Economics, professor of the American University in Central Asia; Almaz Parmanov, 1973, temporarily unemployed; Mambetzhunus Abylov, 1954, Doctor of Economics, temporarily unemployed; Kubatbek Baibolov, 1952, temporarily unemployed; Nurlan Alymkulov, 1959, temporarily unemployed; Bakyt Kerimbekov, 1961, the president of the public association "Center of National Initiative".
Earlier following self-nominees handed in their applications to the CEC: lawyer from Osh city, Aisalkyn Karabaeva, 1966; temporarily unemployed Taalaibek Toktokaziev, 1974; the pensioner Arstanbek Osoev, 1947; temporarily unemployed Aibek Sadykov, 1966; and the president of On Clinic Bishkek international medical center, Shamshybek Medetbekov, 1963.
Political party "Youth movement of April 7" suggested MP from Ata-Zhurt faction, Nariman Tiuleev, 1963, for the president.
In the morning, August 15, self-nominee applications were submitted by Salmorbek Dyikanov, 1953, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematical Sciences; and Kalybek Arabaev, 1942, the head of Cholok-Tuuma farm household.
Two political parties proposed their nominees. Zhashasyn Kyrgyzstan proposed Toktaim Umetalieva, 1962; Social Democratic Party - current Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev, 1956.

Campaigning will start on September 25. Elections are set on October 30, 2011.
