Many violations found out in Kyrgyz hospitals
Many violations were found out in the hospital of the Ala-Buka district of the Jalal-Abad province and in the Centre of General Medical Practice of the Chon-Alay district of the Osh province of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund of the KRG reports.
According to it, in 2010-2011 the administration of the Ala-Buka hospital without holding a tender purchased goods. "Similar violations in this hospital were found out in 2009. During the examination of medical cards 51 per cent of unjustified hospitalization, and 45.9 per cent of cases of unnecessary prescribing were revealed," explained in the press service, 24.kg news agency reported.
Reportedly, audit exposed that the Centre of General Medical Practice of the Chon-Alay district without holding a tender purchased goods to the amount of KGS 985.6 thousand and medicines which were not included in the approved list to the amount of KGS 176.8 thousand.
Materials of control are sent to the Ministry of Public Health for consideration by the commission for financial irregularities.
