Japan is interested in extraction of rare earth metals in Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Shin Maruo told reporters at the press conference today, AKIpress reported.
The Ambassador said the concrete projects were not considered yet. "It would be good if the Kyrgyz delegation of specialists presents projects to Japanese companies," Ambassador Shin Maruo said.
Japan is also interested in use of medicinal herbs growing in the Kyrgyz high mountains, he added.
A low corruption level and political stability are priorities for doing business in any country, the Ambassador of Japan noted.
