The number of presidential candidates in Kyrgyzstan decreased from yesterday's 37 to 25 people, the Central Commission on Elections and Referendums Holding (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan reported 24.kg news agency.

According to the CEC, six candidates were refused the registration because of signature insufficiency in the election sheets. The violations were revealed by special working group.

Some candidates have failed the Kyrgyz language exam and can't run for the presidential post.

The list of the candidates for the main political post in the country include Arstanbek Abdyldaev, Temirbek Asanbekov, Kubatbek Baibolov, Tursunbai Bakir uulu, Salmoorbek Dyikanov, Akylbek Zhaparov, Marat Imankulov, Kubanychbek Isabekov, Anarbek Kalmatov, Almazbek Karimov, Almazbek Atambayev, Torobai Koloubaev, Adakhan Madumarov, Iskhak Masaliev, Almambet Matubraimov, Shamshybek Medetbekov, Roman Omorov, Kurmanbek Osmonov, Omurbek Suvanaliev, Marat Sultanov, Kamchybek Tashiev, Omurbek Tekebayev, Zhumabek Toktogaziev, and Omurbek Egemberdiev.

The presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for Oct. 30.
