Seven commercial banks stopped working in Kyrgyzstan, 24.kg news agency reported according to the Kyrgyz National Bank.

Following commercial banks are among abandoned financial organizations: Bishkek AGB, Mercury JSB, Kurulush-Bank JSB, Kyrgyzdyikanbank SC, Adil JSB, Kyrgyzagroprombank SC and AisaUniversalBank OJSC.

"The Kyrgyz legislation provides for definite banking norms and their violations have caused banks' closing-down. Norms of banking legislation may vary," explained in the National Bank. Besides, two banks (Ak Bank OJSC and Bishkek branch of Central Asian Cooperation and Development Bank CJSC) were deprived of licenses.

Totally, 22 commercial banks are operating in Kyrgyzstan.
