Kyrgyzstan’s people want to learn Russian

People in Kyrgyzstan's provinces want to learn Russian, 24.kg news agency reportesd referring to the Minister of Labor, Employment and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Almasbek Abytov.
According to him, knowing of the Russian language gives a possibility to our labor migrants to find well-paid work in Russia.
"Our people have an advantage over migrants from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as they have not forgotten the Russian language yet, Abytov said at the conference "Employment in the KRG: problems and political choice". People understood this, and now villagers want to speak Russian, as it allows finding a normal job with good earnings. The language of Pushkin is not opposed to Kyrgyz in villages, there's no tension. We need to focus on learning Russian."
