Kyrgyzstan will annually mark the Day of April Public Revolution on April 7, KyrTAG reports.
Kyrgyz parliament made a relevant decision during its Thursday parliamentary session.
MP Ismail Isakov, who initiated the bill, said this date should be annually celebrated taking in memory of those who self-sacrificed in their fight for Kyrgyzstan's freedom.
Some Kyrgyz MPs offered to cancel the celebration of March 24 as the Day of Public Revolution, which was marked after the 2005 Tulip Revolution.
In April 2010 mass protests in Kyrgyzstan led to bringing down former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev. According to the official sources, clashes left more than 80 dead and about 1,500 injured.
