Regular meeting of the SCO Member States' National Coordinators Council has started in Kyrgyz city of Bishkek on Wednesday, Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
"On Aug.1, 2012 a regular meeting of the SCO Member States' Council of National Coordinators opened in Bishkek within the presidency of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization," the Ministry said.
Representatives of Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and delegation of the SCO Secretariat headed by the Secretary General Muratbek Imanaliyev attends the meeting.
During the meeting the Kyrgyz party will tell the partners within SCO about Organization main activities under presidency of Kyrgyzstan in 2012-2013 and present the action plan for this period.
Moreover, SCO Member States' Council of National Coordinators will discuss the future Council of Heads of SCO member states governments scheduled for autumn and documents, which will be submitted at the SCO Summit scheduled for summer of 2013.
The SCO Council of National Coordinators meeting will last till August 3, 2012.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a permanent intergovernmental international organization. It was established by Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in Shanghai on June 15, 2001.
