Ten candidates have been proposed for the post of Kyrgyz PM, Social Democrats Party leader Chinibay Tursunbekov told KyrTAG on Tuesday.

"Ten candidates have been proposed for post of the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan," Chinibay Tursunbekov said.

He said among the proposed candidates are current head of the presidential office Jantor Satybaldiyev, former Prime Minister Amangeldy Muraliev, Acting Deputy Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev and MP from the Ata-Jurt Kamchybek Tashiyev.

He also said other candidates exist whose candidacies would be considered at a meeting of Social Democrats.

"In addition, we need to negotiate with the leaders of other factions," he added.

The faction received a mandate to form a new majority coalition in parliament. Before September 17, the new coalition should nominate a candidate for the PM post.
