The Government of Kyrgyzstan has discussed situation in Kumtor on emergency meeting. Head of the press service of the government Nurzada Toktogulova said about it on Thursday.
According to her, an emergency meeting chaired by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jantoro Satybaldyev was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Atakhanov and Tayirbek Sarpashev, Energy Minister Osmonbek Artaykbaev and the heads of all security agencies.
During the meeting has discussed the situation prevailing in the mine "Kumtor" and the measures to be taken to stabilize the situation.
"We must do everything possible to peacefully resolve the situation and take a decision today" - Satybaldyev said.
In addition, the Prime Minister held a meeting with the Vice President "KOC" Rodney Stuparik.
Jantoro Satybaldyev also consult with the heads of the factions of the coalition majority of Parliament.
