A special commission has been set up to investigate the fire in one of the largest markets of Bishkek, the Osh market, the Head of the Fire Department of the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety, Taalaybek Omurbekov told Kabar.
Omurbekov said that works on breaching and watering of territories are being carried out on the site.
"All designs are demolished and watered to avoid a fire again. In addition, a special commission was set up, which will conduct an investigation," Omurbekov said. He added that the causes of the fire are not known yet.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergencies told that the fire is localized, but not extinguished yet. 12 firefighters are working on the site.
Fire outbreak started on the Osh market at 10 a.m. this morning. Two people have been hospitalized.
