The gross domestic product (GDP) of Kyrgyzstan for the first two months of this year exceeded 63 billion soms, the National Statistics Committee reported on the preliminary calculations of the macroeconomic indicator, Trend reports referring to kabar.kg.
Compared to the same period last year, it increased by 4.9%. Without considering the enterprises for the development of Kumtor deposit, as it was clarified in the department, the volume of GDP in January-February 2019 amounted to more than 56 billion soms and increased by 1%.
The GDP growth was affected by an increase in the volume of industry, agriculture, and wholesale and retail trade.
