Kyrgyzstan, Japan discuss cooperation in IT sphere

An official delegation of Kyrgyzstan, which took part in the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, met with Deputy of the Japanese House of Representatives, leader of the Kyrgyzstan-Japan Parliamentary Friendship League Gen Nakatani, Trend reports with reference to Kabar.

The delegation was headed by Deputy Head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Adylbek Kasymaliev and Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Kairat Imanaliyev and Deputy Minister - Director of State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports Kanat Shabdanbayev.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues, including current areas of bilateral cooperation in socio-economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the establishment and strengthening of contacts between regions of the two countries.

In addition, views were exchanged on joint activities on the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Japan in 2022.

As part of the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation met with representatives of the Japanese company "Muroo Systems Co Ltd". The sides debated prospects for cooperation in the field of information technology.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of Japanese company to Kyrgyzstan for an extended meeting with relevant authorities of the republic.
