BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Kyrgyzstan and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) agreed to implement several projects, Trend reports via Kyrgyz Economy Ministry.
During the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of EBRD, the present portfolio of the bank, as well as issues of the macroeconomic situation in Kyrgyzstan and implementation of energy sector projects were discussed.
“Joint project agreements in the fields of e-commerce, railway infrastructure, irrigation, support for small and medium-sized businesses were reached,” the report said.
EBRD makes a significant contribution to accelerating the pace of sustainable growth, creating conditions for the development of small and medium enterprises, strengthening the financial sector and modernizing municipal infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan.
