BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Kyrgyzstan is reviewing a new format of transportation of agricultural products within the launch of the 'Eurasian Agroexpress' project, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobayev said on Facebook, Trend reports.
According to him, it is necessary to redirect the transportation of agricultural products from road transport to rail transport and use multimodal transport.
“The use of rail transport will allow optimizing the time of delivery of goods, the need to use special wagons for the transportation of agricultural products and the establishment of competitive tariffs”, Torobayev said.
Moreover, the implementation of the project will increase mutual trade between the EAEU countries and export agricultural products to other countries.
