BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 1. Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan agreed to further expand economic cooperation, Trend reports with the reference to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.

During a meeting, Pakistan's Minister of Finance Miftah Ismail and Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Ulanbek Totuyaev agreed to enhance cooperation in agriculture, the textile and food industries and the pharmaceutical industry.

Pakistani side expressed interest in developing mineral export-import relations with Kyrgyzstan and especially focusing on interaction in the energy industry.

Totuyaev suggested establishing a Kyrgyz-Pakistani investment fund in the future, which would enhance bilateral collaboration by more effectively financing projects in a range of spheres.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on May 10, 2022.
