BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. Georgian Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG) completed a project to improve program budgeting in Kyrgyzstan in June 2022, Trend reports via Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Finance.
As a result of PMCG's consulting services, the regulatory and methodological framework for program budgeting in Kyrgyzstan was updated and improved.
The initiative also upgraded methods for applying budget classification and developed a quality assurance system for program budgets.
PMCG's project to improve programmatic budgeting and budget investment planning, including improvements in sectoral spending planning in Kyrgyzstan, was carried out from January 2020 to June 2022.
