BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. According to the National Statistical Committee, Kyrgyzstan has reduced export of honey by 45 percent in the first 10 months of this year, Trend reports citing akipress.com.

From January through October 2022, a total of 160 tons of honey were exported for $713,000 from Kyrgyzstan.

During the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan exported 37.6 tons of honey to Saudi Arabia, 31.3 tons to South Korea, 22.2 tons to the United Arab Emirates, 15.6 tons to Japan, 13.2 tons - Kuwait, 13 tons - Iraq, 10 tons - Russia.

Earlier, it was reported that Kyrgyzstan received permission for honey exports to China on November 14, 2022. The export of honey and honey products from Kyrgyzstan to China was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
