BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. The Government of Kyrgyzstan has purchased a new Airbus H145 helicopter from Germany, Kyrgyz president's press secretary Erbol Sultanbaev wrote on his Facebook page, Trend reports.
The new helicopter, purchased at the expense of Kyrgyzstan's republican budget, was transferred to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyzstan.
"Airbus H145, designed for 8 passenger seats, has the latest navigation equipment, autopilot, TAS 620 traffic alert system, additional air purification system, etc," Sultanbaev wrote.
Sultanbaev mentioned that next year, it is expected that, as part of the agreements between the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan will receive a new MI-8 MTV helicopter on a grant basis.
"In addition, the overhaul of helicopters of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic is currently being completed. Thus, Kyrgyzstan's helicopter aviation industry's growth is continuing," he added.
