BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product (GDP) increased from January through December 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

According to preliminary data, the GDP of Kyrgyzstan increased by 7 percent in 12 months of 2022 compared to 2021 - up to 919 billion soms ($10 billion).

The value of industrial production amounted to about 426 billion soms (about $4.9 billion) from January through December 2022, which is an increase of 11.4 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Meanwhile, according to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov Kyrgyzstan's GDP in 2022 was projected at 824 billion soms ($10.3 billion), and in 2024 - 926 billion soms ($11.6 billion).
