The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide Tajikistan with a loan worth $ 2.5 million to rehabilitate services of solid waste management in the city of Khujand, Asia-Plus said on Saturday.
The ceremony of signing the loan agreement was held at the Tajik Finance Ministry on November 25.
The agreement was also signed for the government to give guarantees for this project.
According to a source, the total sum of the project is estimated at $ 5.94 million, the EBRD loan - $ 2.5 million.
