Strong tremors were felt by residents of the Tajik capital for the second time in the last hour, CA-News reported.
Eyewitnesses claim that the new tremors were stronger than an hour ago. "Tremors lasted long and were strong," one of Dushanbe residents was quoted as saying.
It should be recalled that an hour ago (9:32 local time) an earthquake measuring 5.4 in the Richter scale jolted Afghanistan which was felt in Tajikistan.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicentre of the earthquake was located in 370 kilometres south of Dushanbe in the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan.
According to preliminary data, earthquakes in the Tajik capital reached thyree points an hour ago.
Reports on casualties or damage have not yet been received.
