Tajik President Emomali Rahmon left for Brazil on Monday to attend the UN conference on Sustainable Development, Asia-Plus reported.

Tajik delegation also includes the country's Foreign Minister Khamrokhon Zarifi, President's Advisor on Foreign Policy Erkin Rakhmatulloyev, Melioration and Water Resources Minister Rakhmat Bobokalonov and other officials.

The conference will take place in Rio-de-Janeiro on June 22-26.

The major topics of discussions will be the sustainable development in economic and social sphere and environment protection.
