President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree renaming the Turkmen State Service on Combating Drugs into the Turkmen State Service for security protection of healthy society, the Turkmen government said on Thursday.
According to the information, a new State Service should in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan prepare and submit in a month to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals on changes and amendments to the legislation of the country.
Atadurdy Osmanov has been appointed head of this agency, Mammetdurdy Sopiev - his deputy.
Dovletgeldi Mamovov has been appointed head of the Department of Akhal velayat (region) of the State Service security protection of healthy society, Gurbanberdi Rejepov - Ashgabat, Dovletmammet Garayev - Balkan Velayat, Rovshen Garajayev - Dashoguz velayat, Tachmurad Gandymov - Lebap velayat, Annageldy Khidirov - Mary Velayat.
