The problems with the delivery of Turkish and Iranian goods in Tajikistan through the Uzbek territory are completely solved, Asia-Plus reported on Tuesday, referring to Tajik Minister of Transport Nizom Khakimov.
As minister mentioned, in late 2012 the agreement among Uzbekistan, Turkey and Iran expired, and therefore the Uzbek authorities did not allow the transit of goods from these countries through the Uzbek territory. However, this issue did not apply to the Tajik freight transport, because the agreement between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan remains in force.
