The deputies of Tajik Parliament's lower chamber ratified an intergovernmental agreement between Tajikistan and the UK on providing of military equipment and personnel transit through the territory of the country due to ISAF forces withdrawal from Afghanistan, CA-News reported on Thursday.
The document has 12 points, Member of Tajik parliament Sayfullo Giyosov said.
The agreement was signed in Dushanbe in April.
It is expected that the agreement will allow transporting the equipment through Tajikistan's territory, while the personnel will pass the republic's air space only in emergency situations.
