The issues of deepening the relations and cooperation between the Azerbaijani town of Ganja and the Tajik city of Khujand were discussed during the meeting with the Mayor of the city, Rajabboi Ahmadzoda and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Dushanbe Abbasali Hasanov, Avesta.Tj reported.
During the conversation with the Azerbaijani diplomat, Ahmadzoda proposed to establish joint venture for the production of canned products in northern Tajikistan.
In turn, Hasanov proposed to conclude an agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation between the National University of Ganja and Khujand State University named after B. Gafurov, the report said.
