Tajik ambassador to Russia Imomuddin Sattorov met with the head of Federal Tourism Agency (Rustourism) Oleg Safonov, said the message of the Tajik Foreign Ministry.
The sides discussed key topics of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in tourism sphere, particularly, issues concerning provision of favorable conditions aimed to increase mutual tourist flow, said the message.
Imomuddin Sattorov at the meeting noted that President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon declared 2018 the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development”, adding that Russia is one of the key partners of Tajikistan in the tourism sphere.
He also expressed interest in increase of the tourist flow from Russia, experience exchange on investments drawing to the sphere, tuning of cooperation between tour operators of the two countries.
Oleg Safonov in turn pointed to sincere interest in establishment of close ties with a competent authority of Tajikistan in the tourism sphere.
Opinion exchange regarding strengthening of bilateral regulatory law base of the sphere also took place.
