BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. The total value of trade turnover between Tajikistan and Turkey decreased in the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports referring to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan’s trade turnover with Turkey from January through March 2022 totaled $83.8 million, which is a decrease of 14.2 percent, compared to the same period of 2021 ($97.7 million).

Turkish exports to Tajikistan amounted to $30.8 million in the first quarter of 2022, which is a decrease of 4.3 percent compared to $32.2 million in the same period of 2021.

The value of Tajikistan’s exported goods to Turkey totaled $53 million also decreased by 19 percent compared to $65.5 million in the reporting period of 2021.

Tajikistan's largest trading partners in the reporting period were Russia ($365.4 million), Kazakhstan ($353.8 million) and Uzbekistan ($163.4 million).
