The President of Kazakhstan thanked the Turkmen leader for the "warm and cordial reception" during his recent working visit to Turkmenistan to launch the Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan - Kazakhstan - China gas pipeline, Turkmenistan.ru reported.
"During our bilateral meeting, we discussed a wide range of issues related to Kazakh-Turkmen cooperation," Nursultan Nazarbayev said. He proposed to discuss the agreements reached earlier in the course of the forthcoming visit of the Turkmen president. He stressed that implementation of these agreements will "take Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to a qualitatively new level of interstate cooperation."
The date and time of the visit will be specified through diplomatic channels, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports quoting the press service of the Turkmen leader.
