The processing and interpretation of seismic data obtained within the contract area "Block 21" in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea were presented in Ashgabat, the Turkmen Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said today.
The representatives of the State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources under the Turkmen President, representatives of the Turkmen oil and gas complex, institutions, public concerns attend the event.
The Turkmen State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources, "Itera", operating in the offshore Block 21 in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea in accordance with the PSA terms were the organizers.
The company reported earlier that according to the preliminary estimates, the license block 21 has recoverable oil reserves - 219 million tons, associated gas - 92 billion cubic meters and natural gas - 100 billion cubic meters. The investments in the project will amount to $6 billion.
In May, "Itera" took part in the third International Gas Congress of Turkmenistan, as well as the exhibition within the congress.
The International Group of Companies "Itera" was established in 1992. It includes dozens of enterprises and companies in the CIS countries, the Baltic countries, Western Europe, Asia and the USA.
Gas business has been the main direction of activity since 1994. The strategic directions are development, gas chemistry and power engineering.
