Ashgabat has hosted the two-day VII Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS countries today. The agenda includes working out the development strategy of humanitarian cooperation, the official Turkmen source said.
The final resolution will be adopted following the forum.
Earlier, the CIS Executive Committee said that the event will be held within the plenary session and round tables: "Development Strategy for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS member-states: trends and prospects", "2012 - year of sport and a healthy lifestyle", "2013 - Year of Ecological Culture and the Environmental Protection", " Cultural heritage and information space", "Youth cooperation in science and innovations" and others.
Turkmenistan hosts this forum as a country chairing in the CIS in 2012.. A fair of CIS consumer goods and a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council for the CIS agricultural-industrial complex have recently completed in Ashgabat.
