Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia, Berdimyrat Redzhepov has been simultaneously appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Slovenia, according to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's decree.
Turkmenistan's president met with Slovenian Foreign Minister, Carl Eryavets in January and discussed the issues of interstate cooperation and agreed on creation of an intergovernmental commission on cooperation.
During the meeting the parties discussed the activity of Slovenian companies, including pharmaceutical companies, the possibilities of cooperation in the sphere of telecommunication technologies and supply of various equipments.
