Turkmenistan will take part in the 15th Trade Fair of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to be held in Riyadh on May 22-26, 2016, said the decree signed by Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Turkmenistan's layout exhibition will be formed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the relevant ministries, as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, according to the document.
"The main task of the Turkmen delegation in this event is to popularize Turkmenistan's economic success in the world, ensure the further development of cooperation with foreign partners and increasing the export of local products," said the decree.
The exhibition is a platform for the meeting of businessmen, professional organizations, and economic entities of the OIC member states. The event's purpose is to strengthen the trade and economic cooperation and stimulate the investments within OIC.
OIC has 57 member states. The organization's headquarters in located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
