Commissioning of a number of facilities at Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries is a technological revolution in the country’s petrochemical industry, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
This complex consists of two oil refineries in the cities of Turkmenbashi and Seydi. New fuel and petrochemical facilities, built in partnership with large companies from Germany, Iran, Israel, the US, Turkey, France and Japan, have no analogs in the region due to their technical characteristics, said an article in Neutral Turkmenistan.
“Infrastructure of new industrial enterprises, which is now being created, is designed to ensure high competitiveness of domestic goods in foreign markets, which will, in turn, accelerate Turkmenistan’s admission to the list of developed countries,” reads the article.
The Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries is the largest exporter of liquefied gas in Central Asia. Automobile, rail and marine terminals were built in the country for liquefied gas storage and shipment.
