Turkmenistan, Palestine hold political consultations

The political consultations were held in Ashgabat between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Palestine, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a message May 3.
"While stressing the similarity of positions on ensuring peace, security and sustainable development in the region and the world as a whole, the Turkmen and Palestinian sides expressed their commitment to the further development of regional and international cooperation," the message said.
According to the message, during the consultations, the sides discussed the issues of cooperation in the political, trade, economic and cultural spheres.
The Turkmen and Palestinian sides also discussed the prospects for cooperation in the trade and economic spheres and the relations in agriculture and healthcare, the message said.
The Days of Culture of Palestine and a joint business forum are planned to be held in Ashgabat on the eve of the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Palestine.
