The first Turkmen-Chinese innovation forum will be held in Ashgabat on October 11-12, the Turkmen government said in a message.
An agreement on the forum was reached in Tashkent during the discussions held as part of a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The aim of the forum is to discuss the aspects of introduction of innovative solutions in various sectors of the economy, as well as the implementation of agreement on enhancing scientific and technical cooperation between Turkmenistan and China.
The forum is organized by Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
