A signing ceremony of a number of bilateral documents has been held following the Turkmen-Tajik talks in expanded format in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Turkmen Dovlet Habarlary state news agency reported Nov. 2.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon signed the joint statement and the strategic partnership agreement between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
Among the signed documents are also the agreement on the principles for the levying of indirect taxation on the export and import of goods, the performance of work and services between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan; the agreement on long-term trade and economic cooperation between the Turkmen and Tajik governments; the agreement on the mutual recognition of documents on education between the Turkmen and Tajik governments and the agreement on cooperation in agriculture between the Turkmen and Tajik governments.
Among the other signed documents are agreement on cooperation in civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations between the Turkmen and Tajik governments; agreement on mutual recognition of construction licenses between the Turkmen and Tajik governments and program of cooperation in culture and art between the Turkmen and Tajik governments for 2018-2020.
