In Turkmenistan, the turnout in the early presidential elections as of 11:00 (GMT+5) local time was 51.05 percent, a representative of the Central Election Commission (CEC) announced live on Turkmen TV, Trend reports.
Most voters were recorded in Ashgabat with an indicator of 52.15 percent, and then follows Dashoguz velayat (region) - 51.89 percent. The Lebap Velayat (region) closes the top three in the number of voters with 51.17 percent.
The presidential elections in Turkmenistan are held on an alternative basis, nine candidates are running for the highest State post.
