BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Turkmenistan reduces cargo transit duty for Uzbekistan by 50 percent, Trend reports citing Arzuw News.

Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov, while talking to reporters, marked that Uzbekistan also managed to reach an agreement on reducing duty for supplies from Georgia and Azerbaijan.

These agreements allowed Uzbekistan to reduce the cost of delivering goods from these countries by 30 percent. Furthermore, transportation costs in the Caspian Sea have been significantly reduced.

Turkmenistan pays great attention to the comprehensive development and modernization of the railway infrastructure and the development of the transit and logistics system of the country.
