BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. The total trade volume between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan reached $68.8 million from January through April 2022, a more than 2-fold increase from $30.3 million in the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the statistics data of Azerbaijan’s Customs Committee.

Turkmenistan exported $58.5 million worth of goods to Azerbaijan from January through April 2022, which is almost 4 times more than the same period of 2021 ($15.6 million).

Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s imports amounted to 1.45 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.44 percent during the same period of 2021.

Turkmenistan’s imports from Azerbaijan amounted to $10.3 million from January through April 2022, reduced by 1.4 times compared to $14,7 million in the same period of 2021.

Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s exports amounted to 0.09 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.23 percent during the same period of 2021.
