BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. The value of trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan amounted to $103.9 million from January through March 2022, compared to $39.5 million during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

The share of Turkmenistan in the total value of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover stood at 0.4 percent during the reporting period, compared to 0.2 percent during the same period of 2021.

Turkmenistan’s exports to Kazakhstan amounted to $14.9 million from January through March 2022, compared to $12.9 million during the same period of 2021.

Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Kazakhstan’s exports amounted to 0.2 percent during the reporting period of 2022, which is identical to the indicator of the same period in 2021.

In turn, Turkmenistan’s imports from Kazakhstan amounted to nearly $88.9 million over the reporting period, compared to $26.5 million during the same period of 2021.

Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Kazakhstan’s imports amounted to 0.5 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.2 percent during the same period of 2021.
