BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Turkmenistan’s production plan for the transport and communication sector was exceeded by 12.1 percent from January through May 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The growth rate of Turkmenawtoulaglary Agency (Turkmen automobile service) increased by 34.1 percent, Turkmendemiryollary Agency (Turkmenistan Railway) – by 15.2 percent, and Turkmendenizderyayollary Agency (Turkmen State Service of Maritime and River Transportation) – 6 percent.
According to the report, Turkmenistan exceeded its cargo transportation by road, rail, air, and sea transport by 11.3 percent and cargo turnover – by 9.1 percent.
At the same time, the growth rate for the Turkmenhowayollary Agency (Turkmen Airlines) increased by 1.8 percent, and for Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency (Turkmen Communication) by 8 percent.
