BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 29. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to create a permanent Water Resources Management Center in the city of Kerki in the Lebap region, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
The Head of state said this during a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Annageldi Yazmyradow, who oversees the agro-industrial complex.
Addressing the Deputy Chairman, Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to continue the work of the agro-industrial complex at the proper level, to improve the water supply of cultivated areas, and to keep riverbeds and reservoirs in proper condition.
Furthermore, the President stressed the need for rational use of water. In this regard, a number of specific instructions were given.
